About Us
About the Author — Dr. Eram Anwar
Dr. Eram Anwar is a writer by passion and a surgeon by profession—an unusual yet powerful blend that shapes her voice, vision, and work. A Maxillofacial Surgeon and a multiple-time award-winning author, she stands at the intersection of science, storytelling, and social sensitivity.

Eram has authored two acclaimed books, Behind the Veil and Her Yellow Diary, and contributed to 35+ national anthologies. Her third and deeply evocative book, Heart at Stake Speaks Silent Alphabet, reflects her signature themes of struggle, truth, darkness, and emotional awakening. For her literary contributions, she was honoured with the Best Author of the Year Award (2021 & 2023) and the Dr. Abhay Puruskar Award (2023) by Psychosocial Research of India.
As a surgeon she has a strong research interest in head and neck oncology, craniofacial trauma, biomarkers, and precancerous lesions. Her academic journey is marked by consistent excellence, original research, and a deep commitment to patient care.
Beyond the clinic and the classroom, Eram is known for her reflective soul. She writes poetry in cafés, finds solace in the smell of rain, and is a vintage lover at heart. Coffee, flowers, pancakes, and sizzling brownies are the small joys that colour her everyday life. A proud hijabi and an only child, she shares an unbreakable bond with her mother her best friend and anchor.
Eram’s dreams are as vast as her courage: to become an accomplished surgeon, a celebrated author, a catalyst for change, and the owner of a personal library where stories breathe freely.
